I think the lesson here is always (if possible) book your new car/home insurance a cuple of weeks in advance, that way if it doesn't track you can cancel without penalty and start again. This is what I have done with Barclays due to its allegedly bad tracking record and each time it tracked on EXACTLY the 7th day.

Was just wandering about that. I pay my insurance monthly on the first.

Does anyone know if I will be able to buy a premium with a start date of 1st Feb and cancel it before then if it doesn't track?

P.S. Got paid my £100 from Prudential Home Insurance no problem last time I changed.

I insured my mom's home with Barclays back in September, £195 for contents and buildings (which was about the cheapest anyway) and the £95 cashback is now in a received state on quidco so looks OK.

My mom got her moneys worth anyway as she set fire to her house in October!!
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die

Was she done for arson ;):D ?

So all the problems seem to lie with Barclays? Has anyone had trouble with Lloyds?

    Mortgage-free Glee!
I will be going with Lloyds as the B & C policy for us is quoted at £139, and so with the cashback this will be peanuts. Has anyone tried sep B & C and got paid out?

Just dont renew the old policy and get a new one with Barclays, simple !

Are you sure that'll work? Be great if it does thanks!

OK so there is a problem with Barclays that needs resolving (my gf has been waiting months). Can anyone point her in the right direction? Barclays cs phone number?, someone phoned them before and was successful and who they spoke to?

    Thanks

Edit - All earnings enquires already done with quidco tna..
