Quidco and Barclays

Just noticed that Barclays home insurance is £125 per policy.

Is it possible to go through twice - once for buildings and then again for contents and get £250 cashback? Is this doable?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Our quote is 378 for both (or 128 net of 2 commissions), only 225 with Tesco and inc Pers poss.

I bought motor ins thru quidco and didn't get the commission.

Not sure what to do, if it works I will be quids in, if not I will be out of pocket.

Not sure if its worth the risk

Does anyone know if this will work for the Lloyds home insurance also? (£120) I'm already with Barclays :(

    Cheers

    This worked for me.
Split your building and contents insurance, taking out one with Barclays and one with LloydsTSB. I've managed to insure my property for free for a year and I've earned approx £85.
    Barclays Building Insurance -£75(£125 cashback)
    LloydsTSB Contents Insurance-£85(£120 cashback)
    Total-£160(£245 cashback)
    God I love QUIDCO !!!!

I did my father's home ins thru Quidco (used Barclays and LloydsTSB) and they are effectively paying him £60 to insure his home this year. Definitely works, although I didn't try the separate policies with the same company trick.

I did my home and contents with Barclays and havnt been paid for 1 of them - this was last March - Quidco have been no help in getting the payment so I will not go through Quidco for this type of insurance again Ill barter on the phone as Ive lost out - would have saved an extra £20 if quidco had paid, up as it is I lost £30 - you win some you loose some thats life

But dont count of getting both from them.
Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T

I never received Quidco cashback from Barclays either - 9 months after taking out the policy. Never had any problems with other cashback but even after putting a query in there's still no luck from Barclays.

Here's another one! I also did my insurance with Barclays via Quidco and have not been paid. I intend to contact Quidco for the 4th time. So far no success.
