iPhone 4 - will contract prices drop soon?
Hi,
My Orange contract is up in October, meaning I can upgrade now if I wish. However, with October being the rumoured release month of the iPhone 5, I want to see how much iPhone 5 contract costs will be, and also if iPhone 4 contract costs will drop.
From past experience, does anyone know if the release of a new iPhone model pushes prices of earlier models down? If so, how much of a drop could I expect?

the iphone 5 will take over as the flagship model from the iphone 4 and i would say that there may be an 8gb iphone 4 avaliable on cheaper tarrifs but what they will be, i dont know0

There'll be no info until release. Apple don't give anything away until they're ready to release.
When the i4 came out, the i3 didn't drop by anything much, the i4 just came in at a higher price point (Apple don't discount either!)...0 -

Apple tend to recall stock and use it as spares than allow reductions, it doesn't sit will with a premium brand to have it at a sale price.
Hicky's right, in the past just before the 4 came out, the 3GS existed as the 16 and 32GB versions and the 3G as the 8GB. As soon as the IP4 was released the 3G was dropped, the 3GS became only available in the 8GB version.
Will there be a cutdown IP4 probably, but how cut down is yet to be seen0
