Speeding fine - what happens next?

I had a fine the other week when I was caught by a police car with a mobile camera. It is hidden behind a derelect building and as far as I can see there are no signs on the side I was drivging to say what the speed limit is. My work collegue was caught in the same place and it feels like it is purely a money making thing. The camera is behind the building and not far from a bend. Can I contest this? I have not been given the option to go on speed awareness but have to pay £60 and get 3 pts
What do you want to contest?0 -

Look further, and you should find them.
FYI, the signs at the beginning of a speed limit should be on both sides of the road. Some limits also require regular repeater signs. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -

And stop necroposting, I got half way down the second page before I realised this started in 2007.0
