    helpful tips
    it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
    their - 'owned by them'
    they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)

Dont get yourself in a fluster flower. Go and impart your words of wisom on the thread in the motoring section then you will see what im on about.

Why will their credit report be affected - will the court judgement be in the form of a CCJ with the prospect of bailiffs and such like?

Not in a "fluster" at all. Not going to duplicate my "words of wisdom".

Yes a CCJ will be issued and if not satisfied will affect credit status.

In this case, if this ends up with a ccj against the OP (ie when the other side win their claim), unless it is paid up within a month of the ccj being issued (which seems unlikely) then the CCJ will be registered and the credit status affected.

I think thats what I said.

The County Court Judgment needs to be satisfied. Trouble is OP has said that he can't pay up so he will need to make some arrangements to ensure it is not payable forthwith.
