Cheapest contract? mobiles.co.uk

Hi everyone.
I'm looking to buy a BB Curve 9300 on contract (ideally free). I need quite a few texts, but not many minutes, and I want enough internet usage to browse the net/send emails and BBMs.
The cheapest I can find is O2, which will do a £13.50 24-month contract with 50 mins, 250 texts, and 100MB data. Comes to a total of £324, but the texts allowance worries me, as it might not be enough.
I've also looked on mobiles.co.uk, and I can find the phone on Orange, for £15 per month, with "100 mins & 500 texts + 100MB data per month".
However, what really worries me about this is this bit of the offer:
What exactly does the first point mean? I have a nasty feeling I'll end up paying £25pm or something and then having to claim £10 back from mobiles.co.uk - which will not, I think, be easy or much fun. The other points worry me because I have an equally nasty feeling that I'll end up roped into these trials, as they fail to acknowledge my cancellation, bill me, and put me through loads of hassle for a refund.
Has anyone had any experience of these people? And does anyone know where I could get a better deal? Ideally I want about 500 texts, just 25 minutes or so, and a small internet allowance. I've thought about GiffGaff, but I think it comes to more when it's all totted-up.
EDIT: The deal is here: hxxp://www. mobiles.co.uk/orange-blackberry-curve-9300.html - go to the "Orange" tab and click "Show all".

- Your monthly line rental will be FREE after redemption
- Gadget Helpline - first month FREE, cancel at any time, £20.16 for 6 months.
- PhoneCare Insurance - first month FREE, cancel at any time, £7.99/month.

See the 'Cashback' link at the top of their home page. Cancelling the insurance and the gadget helpline is not a problem if you don't forget to do this.jamesallen wrote: »What exactly does the first point mean?
