Suing a water company

Well as you said the water company has agreed they will fix like for like. i.e they won't make it better. What have they done to fix it so far? As you said it's a wooden framed property so it shouldn't be too difficult to remove the plasterboard then remove and replace the insulation and replace the plasterboard. Inconvenient...very inconvenient. I'd ask for B+B accomodation whilst they are doing the work.The fault was in the common part of the drain.
The smells are eminating from soaked insulation behind the wall. Therefore we need to strip the walls of tiles/plasterboard in order to access it.:footie:
