Making money through Facebook. Please help!

How much will companies pay to promote themeselves through other peoples Facebook pages/groups? I know that you can generate income via affiliate links, but I want to create a Facebook campaign that puts companies right at the heart of it. To narrow down my question further, how much can I expect to recieve from businesses promoting their products/services if I have 10,000, 30,000, 50,000 or 100,000+ followers?

no, but I intend to. I just want to know if it is worth pursuing from other peoples experiences

Honestly, how many followers would you say you have currently? And are they all UK based? Or a majority of them?

I haven't created it yet. I just wanted to know what figures I could roughly expect.

I thought Facebook only allowed 5000 followers as a maximum?

Why would they pay you, a nobody in their eyes with no background, when they can sign up to the hundreds of established affiliate link companies?

no, you are getting it all wrong. I can't give away what I plan to do in case someone steals it. But I basically plan to create a page (not my existing profile page) where I will run sweepstakes and contests which will create the intial following. I aim to integrate brands onto my page once I have generated a big enough following. Having thousands of people coming to my page which promotes company brands must be worth something, surely? It won't be your typical (leave a comment below and you get entered into a competition), it has much more of a twist than that.

Just a warning - sweepstakes etc sound perilously close to gambling, which will drive companies away - the area is HEAVILY regulated.

ok thanks, but nobody has really answered my question. I know that businesses are spending big money to promote themeselves through social media. I guess the only way I will find out is if I contact them myself.

Pretty much answered your own questions. No one is going to know how much a company will pay unless you ask them directly.

Only issue is you can't give away what the business is as the company might steal it themselves....also I'd check the Facebook terms and conditions and see how they feel about you putting affiliate links on their site.

Promoting inside FB ? isnt that illegal to FB rules? in my opinion just make a new website with members (from 10k daily visits) and just sell the adspots. Then make FB account assigned to that website and then add followers. Even if you get suspended from FB you will keep your members in website. So double earning...
