Also in Colchester here got stupidly excited to see the home bargains sign on Saturday, especially after hearing everyone on here rave about HB and being jealous of how far the closest one was :D
  • Yep, Colchester here :) Spent £25 on Monday and had to stop myself spending more. I think I'm going to have a love/hate relationship with HB!!

  • Wow theres loads of us from colchester!! I have been in there 5 times now as I live really close. Maybe I should get a job there!!
Its a highly addictive shop! Lots of bargains.

Today I saw Fabreze set and refresh double pack plus unit for £1:29 it was only the berrys "flavour "the other ones were £1:99

Also picked up some hand wipes as they are anti bacterial and they were only 49p the only place I have ever found to do anti bacterial hand wipes usually is sainsburys and they are £1:79 a pack so 49p is a bargain I'm stocked up. (I have ocd!)
  • They have a brand of cat litter and it is the wood pellet stuff. It costs about £1.29 per 5 litre bag and I buy 2 so it makes it about £3 altogether (if you include the chocolate I sneak into my shopping lol).

I went the other day and they had a 15L bag for £2.99. Bargain! I bought that baby home :).

I get the silica litter from HB as well (it's next to the wood one in Cleveleys) and mix them together in the tray. About two thirds wood to one third silica. I find it lasts longer but still keeps the smell down.

I've been using wood pellet litter for a while - Wilko's do their own brand too and it's pretty cheap.
