Sorry to butt in guys - but anyone have any recommendations for prickly heat when you's are at it - ~ I have to buy Parasol sunscreen which is very expensive and doesn't fully prevent it - this is a new reaction for me over the last few years and its horrendous ! I don't know anyone else who suffers from it?

    Thanks
Mine has clamed down since I stopped wearing a suncream with a high factor, the higher hte factor the waxier the cream, the less ur skin breathes. I take a daily anti histamine, use priz brun (sp) suntan lotion for allergy and use aloe vera from Holland and Barrett at nite instead of after sun. I hardly ever get effected by Prikly heat now and I used to suffer quite badly,. I ve also stopped using oil based suntan lotion too now.

For ppl wanting to keep the bites away during hte day, try putting some essential oil, citronella into ur suntan lotion x

highly recommend Boots Soltan for sensitive skin (white bottle). Since switching to this i rarely have prickly heat and if i do (usually on my chest) i use aloe vera gel to calm it. I am also careful not to use scented shower gel/soap when on hols or perfume on my skin - i spray in my hair/clothes. seems to do the trick for me!

Found a knitted green throw in burslem yesterday, only one on the shelf and no price anywhere. The label on the throw said "dreams" (the bed company) with a price if £34.99.
Nearly had to be revived when it went through the checkout at £3.99!!! So much of a bargain I headed straight to longton store but couldn't find anymore. You may be luckier?
