It's never been Home & Bargain so have no idea why you (or Liverpudlians) would call it so.

It is Home Bargains and always has been.

    That's not actually true :)

Well true, the first store (in Liverpool) that opened 30 years ago was home & bargain when they branched out they were re-branded as Home Bargains.

They re-branded years ago so not sure why people still refer to it as Home & Bargain!
  • another bargain ive found at home bargains.

bought one for my daughter a few weeks ago for £15 and thought that was good. these are usually around £30!

I just read what it says on the sign

and repeat accordingly, that way it saves confusion ....

... especially to a nationwide (perhaps international) audience :)

Given that this is the HB thread I am not sure you need to worry about that!

Call it what you like! (Home AND Bargain till I DIE!) :rotfl:

YES, but that's where you've dived in with both feet, made assumptions and come up with 2 + 2 = 5, where in fact you are wrong.

When the post below was made at 11:51pm last night ............

    Hi Everyone,

Sorry if this has been posted before but I couldn't find it anywhere

My home and bargain ( East Lancs Rd Liverpool ) has 210 ml bottles of Corona Lager at just 39p per bottle

Great to have in for the festive season

... IT WASN'T on THIS HB thread at all.

It was all on its lonesome. The 1st post in a NEW THREAD. :rotfl:

That's why I enquired if aml1977 meant Home Bargains because there "isn't one" on 'East Lancs Rd Liverpool'

NOT according to their own website

However having then used Google maps and come at it from a different direction I believe I found the store in question.

It's the one listed as on PORTAL WAY
    AXIS Business Park
    Gillmoss

The "Corona thread" (which at around 1am consisted of 6 posts) was MERGED with this one several hours later.

And regards "call it what you like" ...

best of luck going into a shop and asking for Opal Fruits, a Marathon bar or a bottle of Jif cleaner :rotfl:
