Are you really telling me someone reported the 2012 logo fun as offensive and got comments deleted!? Good god someone needs to get out more don't they?.............

If the remarks about the logo were offensive, I'd better not say what this one eyed creature on sale in HB reminded me of:

Picked up the Top Gear Copter K'Nex set below for £9.99 in Colchester Home Bargains this morning:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tomy-Knex-Copter-Building-Years/dp/B005QNZ0RE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1345455731&sr=8-1

It was never worth the original £29.99 RRP but it's a 277 piece K'Nex set for £9.99 which is reasonable for any young Top Gear fans. :)

They also had some smaller Top Gear K'Nex sets for about £7.99.

Has anyone played the Destination 2012 game yet? (the adult version).

I bought it as we play lots of board games at Christmas.

We have had this game for about 4 years and played it quite a lot until my husband started the London Taxi Knowledge - now we can't stand it! But, it is a very good game and everyone we introduce to it loves it. My kids 10 and 7 can play it alone with just a little guidance. HTH :D
  • I got my dd a baby chou chou doll today from the new one at Linwood, Scotland. It was only £14.99, its called bye bye chou chou :) Great considering I was going to get her rock a bye chou chou at £34.99 for her birthday next month!

I saw that they had ink refill kits in there today at £1.99.

Has anyone tried the ones from HB, are they ok?

    I have an Epson S22.

We are on our second lot, not great quality printing to be honest, but we can't buy compatables for our printer and we don't print photo's so don't mind as it works out so much cheaper.

Thanks for the advice, I think I will give them a miss and buy the Jet Tec compatible ones from Amazon, we want to print photos so need a decent quality ink.

Apologies if this is not a grabbit or should belong in the HB thread but my home bargains had lyclear headline treatment (shudder!) for 29p.

It is dated this sept but I'm sure it does not immediately lose effectiveness!

Handy to have in if you have nursery/ younger school kids!
