Has anyone been to the HB at Freeport Talke and if so is it a decent sized store?

    Ta.

    ;)

Its huge. One of the best ones I've been to! I found my Dreams branded King Sized throw in there for £2.49 and have been living in hope of finding another someday!

The rest of Freeport is pretty pants though, M&S Outlet is ok, as is the works but the rest seems to still be massively overpriced.

Great! I haven't been there for a few years but it wasn't much cop then, pity it hasn't improved much (except for the HB store).

Well, I went this morning and it is great, I will def be going again.

Managed to get the last 18" cuddly Union Jack (Union Flag as my husband keeps telling me but I prefer Union Jack) Wenlock for £1.99, my daughter loves it.

We couldn't stand Wenlock but it all changed when we saw the person in the Wenlock costume, trying their best to give a small cuddly gold Wenlock to Bolt.

We felt sorry for the ugly looking thing (Wenlock, not Bolt, he is lovely :D) and decided to get one of the small ones from HB for the car, brill for 59p.

He is 17cm tall, the t shirt is sewn on and the rings (his bracelets) are permanently attached.

    Banksy the artist......

Mouse mat and coaster 49p (blue with woman sweeping dust under carpet)

Picture from ebay (not my listing)

I bought the mouse mat and coaster today but my mouse doesn't like the mat. The cursor was jumping all over the place, so I'm using it face down at the moment.

Yeah you probably are. :D Though come to think of it.........

I have to admit though, and like previous posters, I can't stand this Olympic mascot, though the kids appear to love 'em.

just wondering if people are buying all this olympic crap with the idea they will be worth something in a few years time.the ammount of crap thats been made for the olympics im pretty sure it would take about 800 years for any of them to become barely worth anything due to the mass production.
  • Today I found :

Whole Earth chocolate and hazelnut spread 49p - lovely stuff, tastes like Ferrero Rochers :j
Set of two pillowcases (various plain colours) £1.99
Purple hand wash refill (probably lavender) 39p - the same as they have in asda, just their name is blanked out...
Bulmers crisp apple cider bottles 99p
    Kids Disney facecloths 10p
They had some JLS pens too, no more details like price etc as I couldn't care less but thought it may be useful to someone! :p
