Today I took my own lunch into work to save £2.50. I also resisted getting the bus home from work even though there was rain in the air - saved £1.40!

Couldn't post yesterday - like so many others I am sure - cos of the downtime.
    So, to update.

Yesterday (3rd) I finally listed a camera lens on EBAY. I sooo hope it sells!!

Today (4th) I banked £20 that I may have spent otherwise and also transferred the pathetic £10 that I had in my e-savings account, into my current account which is woefully overdrawn. I figured every penny counts right now!

  • I usually go to a friends straight from work once a week and pick up a ready meal and a bottle of wine (her situation is worse than mine so unfair to expect her to feed me each week) however new year, new start with ref money saving!

yesterday I stopped in sainsburys and instead of going straight to the ready meal section I picked up a large potato and a small can of beans so instead of around £4 for my tea it cost 75p! (+£4 for my wine-not cutting out that one!!! but am thinking of buying in bulk to save money there too!)

so today ive stocked up for the month (one meal a week): cost £2.23 (2 x can of soup bogof = 79p, 2 x beans 64p, 2 x potato 80p) instead of approx £16 SAVING £18.23!!!
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!
