I bought a Currys own make dishwasher recently and I only managed to get it to work once. I got in touch and was told as it was only 2 weeks old I could get it picked up and exchange it.
When I went back to get the new one i was told that they no longer had that model. I asked if they had one in another store but they did not.
I was asked to select an alternative but apart from a very basic, lesser, own brand it would cost me an extra £50.
I said I could not afford an extra £50 and as I had bought the first on in good faith and it was faulty was there any negotiation on the price. I was told quite abruptly "No". The person I was talking to I believe was the manager. My reply was " okay, i'll have my money back"
I then went to Comet and got one for the same price as the one that did not work, and it's great. I'm finished with Currys.:(:mad:0
