I've started having a hunt around now but TBH the L*dl ones look quite good compared to some. I also like that the top platform looks a reasonable size as some of the bigger ones around: like the middle one from the Zoo+ links that Bethie posted, seem to have really small beds on the top - my boy's huge and think he'd have a bit of trouble in there!
The only other one I've found that I've really liked - and has been a "reasonable" cost is:
http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/scratching_posts/medium/15128
Why I like this one is that there's 2 beds in it so hopefully would result in no fighting - although, knowing my 2 they'd both want to be in the same one so it wouldn't help!
CC cut off date is Sunday so should wait until Monday so I don't have another £40 to pay at the end of the month (has been a pretty expensive one so far:eek:).
However, like Mama says probably be none left by then:(. Am on a 1/2 day from work tomorrow so .... may just have to visit (work 1/2 way to store which is 20 miles from home) so may just have to risk it and starve during September!:o
Mama - the ladder one looks better as it's got an extra "jumping" point and I think you should be able to swivel them around as you build it so you may be able to space them out a bit more.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!0 -
Now thinking I may have to go for the hammock one - the bed looks bigger.....
Why is everything so difficult!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

How familiar that sounds! Mine have the run of the house and umpteen gazillion places to sleep, but still insist on being in the same place, which inevitably leads to a fight.rising_from_the_ashes wrote: »Mama - the ladder one looks better as it's got an extra "jumping" point and I think you should be able to swivel them around as you build it so you may be able to space them out a bit more.
Doh! That's a good idea - I didn't even think of doing that, thanks Rising!:wave:A highly active brain needs feeding often

not keen on the dog car seat cover:

No access to seat belts leaving unrestrained dog in the back to fly around in the event of an accident...0 -

I was thinking of buying that and cutting holes in for the seat belts to poke through.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -

I think it may rip to be honest, not seen the fabric in real life though. Let me know if it works!0 -

It's more for a long drive soon where we don't want the dogs in the boot part of the estate because I'd rather they were more restrained so we'll have them on harnesses on the back seat but one of them keeps falling off the edge and down into the footwell when hubby drives too close as normal and brakes hard - thought it might prevent that with the hammock part of it.
Course at present we're skint so not sure I can justify it.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -

I'll nip in later and have a look at the fabric, if it is plastic type backed material it usually tears
I need mine restrained because otherwise I'd end up with a Scottie on my knee

couldnt help myself and went for the lidl one with the hammock. (May still get the barrel for the bedroom upstairs though!!)
put it together, and it is much bigger than i thought it would be... and fonzie is in kitty heaven...
however, it DOES need to be drilled into the wall, because i found it not quite as stable as i would like if it wasn't. Guess it wont be moving now!
