Some great stuff there! I, too, was tempted but have forced myself to close the web page! I've only just bought a huge cat tree from Zooplus!

Oooh I just needed another scratching post as ours has the usual tripod-induced alopecia now (quite how a cat with 25% less claws can go through as many as she does is beyond me).

Wish my precious little angel would use the scratching posts half as much as the @£($*(*$(@£* armchair!!!!!

Hint to others: When you buy a cheap IKEA fabric armchair on offer, cover it in tinfoil or aluminium cladding. OK, so you won't be able to sit on it, but it's the only $(*!@($*(@ way the cat won't decide the stretched canvas makes it the bestest scratching post in the whole wide world :wall:

Honestly, the faded fabric could be covered, but there is no point when the darn thing actually looks shaggy due to the threads torn from it. And she falls asleep on it, only to wake up and claw her way around in circles, still laying down

And now she's asleep on the leather sofa, looking as though butter wouldn't melt!

ETA: If Tripod is missing a back 25%, it wouldn't have an effect, but if it's a front 25% that's absent, I suppose it's a case of 33% more effort....

[wonders if this sort of logic was what they had in mind at school when they taught percentages.....]

Tut...not available in N.Ireland at the minute. My cats **need** that double feeding bowl and they also **need** the scratching post/tree thingies. I wonder when these offers will find their way over here...

Some great stuff there. My two cats don't get on too well (despite being from the same litter) and I think sharing any of that stuff could cause problems!

My cats scratch outside and sleep in random places, so most of that stuff would be wasted on them which is a shame as it looks nice.

I've just been and bought a scratching post and two gravity feeders for my foster cat room :)

My three already have this so they aren't getting anything else :D

I guess it depends on how much cash you've got spare!

The middle one's quite good but think the Lidl ones pip that one, the others are too expensive for me .....

    Now, if I was rich......

Oh wish I hadn't clicked the link now! They really need a new scratching post as the string's starting to hang off the posts and I can see the wooden platform peeking through where the material cover is torn.

My concern with getting a Lidl one is that my old girl may not be able to easily jump up to the higher platform. At the moment we have got a zooplus one:
    http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/scratching_posts/medium/13534
and she finds it easy to jump on the lower sticking out platform and use them like tiered steps to get up.

The platforms on the lidl ones don't seem to stick out quite so far or the jump to the next step appears to be much higher.

Must make decision by tomorrow before they sell out!
:wave:A highly active brain needs feeding often :D
