Can anyone tell me if its legal to unlock an iphone? I bought an iphone and im thinking about getting it unlocked/jailbroken at iphoneunlock.uk.com my friend used them and said it worked. But i want to know will i be able to ever sell the iphone on or if it may cause problems in the future? Im still 50/50 here.

Problems occur when you try and update the phones software/firmware. They put big warnings out that it
may brick your phone and if it does the tough luck.
As long as you never update it or wait until the forums all show they updated and it worked fine then why not.
If its under guarantee then dont.
