We paid £3.10 for a Magners on Friday in the Wetherspoons in Torquay.
Quidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j
  • If you paid this price for 1 Magners, you had to have been overcharged, if I were you, I would return and complain.
  • Can you order online and do they deliver?

I'm an avid fan of the 'spoons, and I can tell you that prices do vary from one place to another. Also quite often their drinks offers aren't on over Fridays and Saturdays, they've proberly got small print on the posters.

Also if the Wetherspoons in Torquay was a Lloyds, then it'll be more expensive regardless, as Lloyds are bars, and Wetherspoons are the more traditional type of pub. I belive part of the additional cost goes towards the entertainment license Lloyds need to play music.

All in all their prices arn't as cheap as they used to be, but they still represent great value for money. And the food used to be stodgy, but it has improved dramaticly over the past three months. :j

I like Wetherspoons also....Love the Chilli.

Sadly due to work shifts won't be able to get in before the sale ends.
    :hello: Never say Never :smileyhea
  • They must be hard up for customers, with the sub - standard food my Wife and I received before Christmas!
  • I'm sorry to hear about your wife's experience. Which wetherspoons was it?

They're definately not having problems attracting customers at the moment if their share price is anything to go by.
