I'm pretty sure they don't sell the burgers on their own, just with (one of a variety of) free drinks included for £3.99. Normally for the same price you can get a chicken burger, vegeburger or lamb burger meal (also including a drink) instead. It's already well worth the £3.99 compared to what you'd get in a fast food place so if these are also down to £3.49 too it's a great deal. Incidentally I've noticed in the last few months the beefburgers have been much, much better than the ones they used to use too!gentlepurr wrote:think all wetherspoons are non smoking
Certainly not true in my local one. As far as I remember Wetherspoons had confirmed that all their pubs would become non-smoking last year but they ditched the plan in anticipation of the law changes and possibly having to revise their policy anyway.0 -

Thanks for that - I have extrapolated that the price of Beefburger/Hambuerger and Chips minus the drink (1.95 ish) is about £1.50.
This seems good value to me as a Wimpey or a Big Macdonalds and chips is probably going to be a bit more than this. Big Macs are about £1.20 and the chip things are about 70p for a small red packet.
How much are Wimpeys these days? The good thing about Wimpeys of course is that you get waitress service and a lot of them are very pretty indeed!0 -
Hope the Tyskie has been reduced. If you haven't tried it and your a lager drinker give it a go, it's Polish and way better than anything brewed by Interbrew in this country. Watch out though it's pure rocket fuel.0

Should this post be renamed "Hic! Drink it while you can?" :beer:Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills. You know, like nunchuck skills, bowhunting skills, computer hacking skills...0
