Exchange scheme (TradeUptoHP) avoiding payment

Hi all,
I bought a new laptop from HP back in April, using their promotion at the time, "Trade Up to HP", whereby you got £150 off (plus £10 to cover courier costs) for exchanging an old laptop. I got confirmation from them of receipt on 5th May, letting me know that payment was "usually within 30 days but sometimes as long as 56 days".
I wrote to them on day 57 asking, they apologised and said they were expediting, I wrote to them on day 70 asking, they let me know (13th July) that the payment was with Accounts and would be made 'very soon, in the next batch'. We're now another 3 weeks on with no info.
Should I write again politely, write again threatening small claims, get in touch with Trading Standards, ....? Any advice welcome as to what my rights/reasonable expectations are here!
Thanks

Thanks for the rapid response, Jess; will confirm here when all done and dusted. Hopefully all real and true and straightforward.0

Also, I don't know what FT is. I am sure it's a good thing, and not something that demonstrates my huge naivete in some way.0

"Forum Team"One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

Just in case anyone cares - the deleted post above which promised payment within 2 days was clearly spam/false in some sense, no payment received and a '7 days to pay before I pursue other options to reclaim the money' has been sent.0

Hi did you actually get paid for this in the end?
There's more info about the Tradeuptohp.com tradein offer in another thread on this forum titled
HP computers cashback and trade in0 -
Hi - I did, ultimately in late Aug. Ridiculous level of hassle chasing for something that supposedly is that whole team's reason for existing, but shrug.0
