I have been using Compound W, got it from chemist at Tesco. Have to apply it to wart then cover it with plaster, it kills the skin on top of wart so have to keep on rubbing hard skin off with emery board. Been using it for few days and seems to be working so far.

I had a wart on my finger for over 15 years.  The GP froze it off twice (yes it is very painful for hours afterwards) and it came back, I used Bazooka numerous times, rubbed bacon on it and buried in the back garden (old wives tale)- all to no avail.  Started putting T tea oil on it every day for a month and then used Bazooka again for a week.  The virus obviously became active at this stage in my body as I had loads of verrucas appear on my feet.  Suddenly they all disappeared and have not returned a year later.  Used same method on my 7 year old daughter who had numerous warts on her hands and legs. I put t-tree oil on all her warts for a month and then Bazooka (extra strength) on the biggest wart only. Overnight they all disappeared. Really werid.

Thanks for all your replies, we asked at the docs about freezing the warts, but he wont do it, as he said it would hurt her too much, shes only 7. I think we'll try the tea tree oil and bazooka as we have both of them in, thanks again to you all for your suggestions. ;D
    have a nice day

my gp said the same thing about my daughters verrucas he said it is too painful for a young child to have done, but bazooka worked on her foot so it should work on warts

    Hello

As warts are viral, they will keep coming back. Taking a multi-vitamin and maybe some iron supplements - check thats okay with the Doctor first!- may help boost the immune system.
I am a paeds nurse and had a huge varucca (same virus) and tried everything that people recommended - bananas in socks :o bazuka, getting frozen by my GP (which infact caused them to spread), eventually I mananged to see the hospital podiatrist who said

take some vitamins and iron supplements and rub tea tree oil or lemon oil (tisserand was recommended, you can find that at big tesco's or health food shops) on the affeted area using a cotton bud.
    ...........And it worked :)

My eldest son had a verucca, he had it for ages, i had been applying stuff on it and treating it, but nothing had happened so i gave up. Many months after giving up we went on holiday for a couple of weeks - plenty of sea, salty sea water and sun. It was lovely.

A month after we came home, my son had just had a shower and called me into the living room. 'Mom come and look at this' he said. I came in to find him nursing his foot with the verucca. When i looked at it, the verucca was lifting out of his foot. I got some tweezers, and pulled it out. It left a massive hole in his foot, and the stalk on it was long. I could have thrown up though.
