My son has the same problem. I went to Boots today and bought Wartner, you only need to apply it once and it freezes the warts off (apparantly). Son applied it today, said it stings for a few minutes then it's OK. It takes about 10 days for the warts to go, though for some reason I thought it would be instant ::)
Wait, I remember the reason - it was about £11 for a bottle At that price it should work faster, don't you think ;D
I'll let you know how it goes ;DBulletproof0 -
This will sound stupid and I still don't know why it worked, but, I had one on my finger for ages, non of the chemist stuff was making a difference for a year or so. then I happened to tile our bathroom and kitchen and happened to be using grout with a built in fungicide as per normal stuff for bathroom tiles. Within a week or so of me spending 3/4 days with a bit of grout on my hands it had gone and still not returned. No idea ho wmuch a small pot of grout with fungicide is but may be worth a try!0

I used the Wartner product on my daughter and it worked after 2 applications. I balked at the price too but I had probably spent more than the £11 on all the other products I had tried prior to this (so I would have saved money if I had bought it first!).Named after my cat, picture coming shortly0

I bought the wartener for my son, however he was a chicken and you have to apply the liquid nitrogen thingy on the wart for a number of seconds - however, he kept pulling away after a couple of seconds. However, i kept persevering, using it for a couple of seconds every few days, but 2 months later it is still there. Thing is, he wont let me mess either, which is why i bought the wartener in the first place.0

i have not used this stuff, but could you not ask your gp for it on prescription? save you a lot of money by the sound of it0

At my surgery they invite you to a special 'wart' clinic where they use the same liquid nitrogen stuff as whats in the tin of wartener, however you have to book in advance, and like i said, i couldnt guarantee he would keep his foot still long enough.
My daughter went to the wart clinic with a huge wart on her finger. The doctor applied the nitrogen on it and within a month it had gone.0 -
