Enjoy Car Rental - Malaga

Hi, I need to hire a car from Malaga Airport. I searched through travel supermarket and Enjoy Car Rental came out best, in fact the deal seems too good to be true. I called and spoke to someone in the office who informed me that a man would meet me in arrivals and take me to the car which would be parked in the airport car park. He would take my credit card details and process the transaction when he got back to office, meaning I wouldn't be present when the transaction is processed! This sounds extremely dodgy to me, but he explained that the reason the price is so low is that the company is based 30 mins from the airport therefore no costs relating to a desk in the airport. Has anybody ever used this kind of service? or even heard of this kind of setup?

Does indeed sound dodgy ... I'd give a wide berth. Just got back from Alicante where we hired from Sixt - would highly recommend based on experience so far unless there's some horror due on my visa card bill!

i think Enjoy are just a broker so what is the name of the hire company they have put you with? They put us with Malagacar.com a couple of years ago.

You only find out once you book and pay deposit. I asked why this was the case and the guy at Enjoy said that it was due to them having exclusive rights with the actual car co. and he wouldn't want to give their name out incase people went to them directly! He also gave a speel about how Enjoy are a reputable co. and wouldn't be involved in anything dodgy and that the fact that I found it on Travel supermaket legitimises it...

Travel Supermarket must check the companies that it has on the website, why not call them and ask them (Travel Supermarket I mean), I am sure not just any Tom, !!!!!! or Harry can advertise on there.
