Candy can I ask which vits you take for hormones pretty please?
Oh dear, sorry for the mammoth post! Can you tell I've missed you?! :rotfl:
Hi LaE
We've missed you too!!!!
So the meds and vits I am taking are.....
Starflower oil & Agnus Castus - helps to balance hormones (apparently)
Folic Acid - Just in case there is a jelly tot on the horizon
Metformin 1500mg per day - helps with blood sugar levels (although I am not diabetic yet)
Spirolactone 50mg/day - apparently it helps to agitate testosterone, which should reduce my facial har.
It would be best to discuss the medication with your doctor to see if it is helpful to you
Life is just so fun sometimes!!!!
Take care,
Candy xxx

La_escocesa wrote: »Stitchy - sewing novice here - need to take up hem on my work trousers - is wonder web ok or is that just laziness and should I get a needle and thread out…? Or should I just stick to sellotaping them every time I wash them like I do with my current ones?

I'd hem them with a needle and thread, but I have it on good authority (ie my DD :rotfl:) that Wonderweb works a treat. It's not laziness; we all have different talents and sewing isn't for everyone. I'd say Wonderweb is better than selotape though.determined_new_ms wrote: »Stitchy any update on the dress you were looking at costing for me/us?
I'm still struggling with getting the price down unless two or more people want the same colour. I'll keep hunting for a cheaper fabric supplier, but as with everything, quality drops with the price.

It was before her time and I was at home with a tiny baby and my OH was on short-time working (Early 80's recession!). My best friend turned up and all I had was one pork chop, so it was very finely shredded and thrown into some rice and frozen mixed veg for a 'fried rice' type of dinner. Simples....Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -

I saw that too & was horrified! We spent £4 on 2 bottles of water & called it quits, good job we did get 1 each though as I think I sweated out at least all of that bottle :rotfl: (Sorry for being disgusting!)
But anyway yes it was fantastic!!!
3rd time for me but 1st time at their own show, I've only ever seen them at festivals before so this was even better - closest I've ever been & it was so worth it! Glad you enjoyed it too x :idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57
