His not willing to put a plume kit to divert fumes. I'll ask gas safe to inspect so it will put my mind to rest.
Well, he would say that wouldn't he?
My advice is to dig your heels in and insist that its done. Having said that, try and be diplomatic too because you don't want things to spiral downwards and lose any possible cooperation.
Gas Safe Register should be your last option really but you don't want to have that thing pointing at your window for the next 20 yrs or so.
Whilst there are strict regulations regarding flue positions, consideration must also be given to nuicance to others.

The installer is not willing to cooperate even thought I just spoke to him nicely, informing him my concerns.
Its a call to the estate agent raising my concerns, but since it satisifes what the guide suggests i'm thinking it may be ok.0 -
Spoke to Gas Safe and the boiler flue should be 2 metres away from the window.0

The installer spoke to Main (the manufacter of the boiler) and they've suggested they put a pluming kit.0

Looks like it will be resolved, only thing now is my new concern is gas safe register state flue should be 2 metres away from house window and Main suggest 1200 mm. Who is right?0

It won't matter if a pluming kit is fitted as this will rise vertically from the flue outlet.
Just make sure they do it ASAP so that the whole thing doesn't get conveniently 'forgotten'.You have been reading.....another magnificent post by garethgas :beer:0 -

Installer gone out to get the pluming kit.0 -

Yes it must be 2000mm from any opening in the fabric of the building.
Boilers MI's usually just state 'away from opposite walls'.0
