Boiler flue near my window. Worry?

My neighbour is installing a boiler, my concern is the flue is pointing directly towards my window so more than likely if I was to leave my window open I will get CO2 emissions in to my home.
I got a feeling the flue shouldn't be where its placed since the fumes are directly pointing in to my window if left open, the houses are 6ft apart and the distance between end of the flew to my home is around 4.5ft. They've left quite a bit of the flue length.
Was hoping for some advise, I could be worrying for no reason but wanted someone more knowledgable to give there input.
Thanks
Ps.
I was at work when the boiler was being fitted and the house is being let out so no one is leaving there at present to raise my concern. Thinking of phoning the estate agent and then council but don't want to stir trouble if theres no need to.

I would take it seriously. Unfortunately one of our neighbours died from carbon monoxide poisoning because the neighbour's had a boiler which vented through the wall. It was not that near her window, but it was venting in to a small passage between two houses and her window was also between the houses. I believe that unfortunate weather conditions with fairly still air caused the boiler fumes to accumulate in the space between the houses and eventually get in to her window too.0

The minimum distance from a flue facing an opposite window or door is 600mm (although this could vary by manufacturer)...I estimate 4.5ft to be around 1350mm so it is technically safe.
The situation is the second post however, should not be allowed.0 -
There are vert strict rules regarding flues. They vary according to make/model. However, even if its within the required distance you should still insist that they fit whats called a 'plumage kit'.
This diverts the fumes upwards, away from your window.
Don't take no for an answer and if you have any problems with the installation, contact the Gas Safe register people and explain your concerns. You have been reading.....another magnificent post by garethgas :beer:0 -
i always take it as 2.5 m from a boundary and if if falls within the 2.5 fit a plume diverting kit, I remember reading it in i think the odp download when condensing boilers was first made mandatory to install, It was also covered when i did my energy efficiency course. If your not happy inform gas safe and ask them to inspect the job.

If it's still 'installing' (ie present tense) speak to the installer and check that he's going to fit a diverter.0

Thanks all, the installer thinks its safe just spoke to him.
His not willing to put a plume kit to divert fumes. I'll ask gas safe to inspect so it will put my mind to rest.0 -
Is the area between the houses likely to have still air most of the time, or would there be airflow? I could have had my boiler vent next to the porch but I was advised against it due to smell. So it vents at the front near a window, but a legal distance away.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0

Won't expect much airflow in the place its placed, this is where I got my concerns where the emissions would go straight in to the house.
The installation guide suggests 1000mm between the flue and window which it satisfies, I could be worrying for no reason.
He is gas safe registered as just had a quick look of his badge.0
