Hey All,
DD2's Athletics was cancelled due to the weather tonight so that's another £3 in the cc pot. I have noticed that some of my cc money has come from the children not attending their clubs for one reason or another. However, I am grateful that I'm focused enough to re-direct the money as previously I, well, I don't honestly know where it would have gone
before joining this thread.
I am aware of the amount of money that I spend on the kids clubs and I do know that I could have been easily be debt-free ages ago, however, as I said in my previous post to Amara, you can't put a price on health, and all of the time my children actually want to play every single sport that has ever been invented, I'm there to take them(plus they think it's fun!) What else are Mummy's for?

Hey All,
Well done Cassidy for clearing your Halifax cc. You're a star! Hopefully we're gonna eliminate Egg 2 this month. (fingers crossed)
Welcome Tinkerbell, I might have a couple of old mobile phone lying around, although DD3 usually acquires them, will have to negotiate with her as she still 'uses' them. Thanx for the head's up.
Hey louby_lou, hope the weather holds out when you come to do your bootfair.
Kathy: I'm a teacher and I dearly love my work, however being off with the kids has made me realise that I truely would like to become part-time and spend quality time with my family. We want to move house in the next few years, so that's not an option at the moment but I'm going to start investigating it now so that I can make it a reality one day soon. I often lurk on the Mortgage Free Wanabee threads and they provide great inspiration for where to go in the future. There is nothing worse than having to go out to work to a job you hate. I feel for you. I remember it well! But don't worry, if you're sorting out your money MSE style, other opportunities will come yor way, just keep your eyes open. The school I'm in now wasn't my first choice (it wasn't even on my list!) but I couldn't imagine being anywhere else now. Sometimes there are bigger forces at work here. Best of Luck -x-
Hey Gothrockchic, I'm sooooooooooooo jealous you're moving. I can't wait to move, OH and I made a promise to each other that we'd be debt-free first (original conversation was when our debt was at its highest of £25,000+ which feels like an eternity ago now) before we would even look, so that's why I'm throwing absolutely eveything I've got at my debt!! Well done for still making payments throughout your move.
And well done to everyone else making payments :T.
Another £15 in the cc pot for me from my weekly food shopping budget. :j -x-LBM: Oct 2009 When CC debt was £25,000+From Aug 2011: Paid: NatWest 1: £1862, NatWest 2: £869 Egg 1: £2188.95Egg 2: £1832Total CC Debt: £0 !!All thanx to '1 Debt in 100 Days (part 6)'"We are all lying in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars."
