    I listen to R4 the other day they were on about LCD and the fact some are no good for analogue, the picture is worse, which I agree on my Samsung LCD it is but has digital tuner in which is much better, stay away for analogue tuners.

    The guy mentioned that the cheap ones aren't always a good idea, its how they scale the picture to enlarge it to fit the screen as standard analogue are much smaller screen sizes and thus have to be scaled to fit tv, the bigger the tv the more noticeable, he also mentioned its only best getting a bigger tv for a big room as the closer you are to the tv the more noticeable the picture is

    Decided to go for this one as I've been in town this morning (and last week and the week before) looking for a new tv for the kitchen. Unfortunately it's out of stock. Will keep an eye out in case it comes back in though.

  • Have anyone seen this TV in a shop? I really consider buying it as a tv for the bedroom, available in Bournemouth for delivery. The only thing that worries me is the contrast ration of 800. Any comments/advice?
