I've just bought a 37" Toshiba from the Grattan/Freemans clearance shop in Middleton for £599 plus £50 for the stand. They also had 42" for £899 and I think that includes the stand. These are all HD ready and have integrated Freeview Tuners. Models are 42WLT66 (42") and 37WLT58 (37") All Brand new boxed with 12 months warranty.0

Looks good except for the £61 you have to pay on top of it for the stand - there isn't one included.Note: Our HARWA LCD TV offer is TV only - does not come with the design stand base - to leave a choice (stand or wall mount). You may purchase the matching HARWA stand base additionally (see link below) or choose to buy one of the matching universal ORION wall mount brackets in our shop. TV only is no stand-alone!They promised the earth...and delivered mud. Technically though it did meet the spec.0 -
It's in the Arndale centre on the top floor where there's used to be a market, they were called Scoops until recently, but are now called something like "the Big One" although my receipt jst says "Catalogue Discount Store". They also have a shop on Cheetham Hill Road In Cheetham Village and on Ashton Old Road in Openshaw, but I don't know if the last two sell electrical goods.HTH0

I am in the same position as you , I saw on argos website a samsung 37 lcd tv for 899.00 with a free 3 year warranty but I cannot find out any information really about it on the net, i tried samsungs own website and it says product not found:rolleyes: the reason i was wanting to buy form argos is because i have a argos card, and i don't know anyone who has got tvs from them so I am unsure what to do.0
