Called Sky To Cancel

Options
And wasn't offered any deals, getting cut off in 30 days time

I have the full package, paying £53.50 and the woman said I've been with them for 8 years.

Sky+ and multiroom (£53.50)

That's odd, when I phoned up to cancel mine the lass tried all ways to keep me on it, even offering the package I was on at a discounted rate of £15 - was having none of it though ;)

As Noz said - Did you ask?
  • The girl offered me a regular £15 package which I can get anytime according to their website (2 sky mixes) and offered free broadband. This is not a good deal IMO.

I am not in a Sky broadband area.

that's would contradict your first post really

but its up to you which was the better deal, the deal they did offer or no sky at all
  • I don't understand how that contradicts.

Sky broadband I don't get in my area so that's out the question any way

On the sky website 2 mixes cost £15 - this is what the girl offered me,

    wheres the deal?

Sorry hope I'm not sounding rude? :D

Don't think your being rude at all, its just your first post was a vent that Sky offered you nothing when they actually had.

They might call back and offer you a better deal. This happened to us when we cancelled.

I cancelled 2 subscriptions last month- not offered anything on either too. I hinted on being interested in staying if I could get a better deal but they weren't biteing.

I hope they do, infact that's what I'm wishing for, but I'm guessing they'll do that when there's a day left on my 30 day notice or somethin'

I told the girl I'm not in a SBB area but she was insistant that I was, and so then checked to see who was right.
