Dodgy iPhone on eBay
What do you guys think of this? Surely if this phone is in warranty, any eBay buyer would be able to take this into an Apple store no hassle and get it fixed/replaced free of charge? Something tells me though that this may not be that easy?
Also, is it not a bit suspect that this guy has traded many iPhones in the past?

Guarantee dies with change of ownership unless the warranty states otherwise. Conversation in the store would go something like this:
"Have you got proof of purchase?"
"No"
"Have a nice day".
From Apples warranty....
Apple, as defined in the table below, warrants this Apple-branded hardware
product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE (1)
YEAR from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser
Note the phrase original end-user purchaser. The warranty is not transferrable.
I sell laptops. Some have manufacturers warranty which is transferrable as it follows the machine, not the owner. I state those as having outstanding warranty. Where the warranty is not transferrable, I cannot legally state as a seller that there is outstanding warranty above that which I personally give.
