Pointless Rant-Broken Cash machines

I have an addition also.
There are 5 cashpoints next to my local pub but the closest is a Santander machine.
It frequently takes your card and lets you put the pin number in, choose your withdrawel amount then it tells you it don't have cash. It only does this to bank cards that are not Santander. I think it conserves its cash for Santander customers when it starts to get low.
Its even had cheek to say declined by your bank a few times. I walk to one of the other four which are 30 seconds away and have no issues.
Maybe they are trying to keep me fit!
That happened to me the other Saturday at Santander in Sutton Coldfield. I went up the road to HSBC and that machine was fine.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £16,797.770
