Where did my thread go??

Options
Hi Mods,

Yesterday I posted a thread about a problem I'm having with a neighbours dog barking in the middle of the night. There were a few excellent replies by yesterday afternoon but now the thread appears to have vanished.

Can you please let me know what was wrong with the thread or what happened to make it be removed? I was looking forward to getting some help with this issue.

Thanks,

OK, I'm not going mad. The original thread was moved to money savers arms - discussion time, but to see that forum you need to be logged in, and I usually browse not logged in.

Is the forum "discussion time" only meant to be seen by logged in users or is that an oversight?

I have just logged out and can still browse moneysaversarms and discussion time.

Also you do need to be logged in to post, so maybe that was why you could not find your post?

Easy way to find posts, either "User CP then list subscriptions, (need to be logged in), or click on your user name and "see all posts by".

Thanks for the reply derrik, but when I'm logged out it's definately missing, see this screenshot:

I'm not worried at all, but though it's best you know of this as I'm sure I won't be the only one who browses looged out by default.

I've never been able to see Discussion Time either when I'm logged out

in fact, if I click on Torbrex's link while logged out I get an access denied notice

There are lots of 'non-money saving' threads on many of the boards that don't get moved to Discussion Time.
Can someone (anyone?) at MSE central let us know why some are moved yet the majority aren't ...

I have logged out and gone to that forum, and whilst it does show the same screenshot, there is nothing to stop me browsing the forum without logging in, guests/visitors can browse all of the forums but cannot post unless registered and logged in. I cannot understand why you cannot browse said forum?

you do realise that the board that you have posted is the Moneysavings Polls and not the Discussion Time board or did you not realise that there were 3 sub boards in the Arms?
