  • Evening ladies :D

Not been on for about a week so had to read 10 pages to catch up!

    A few UU to report

Lush Happy Hippy shower gel - WBA, liked the grapefruit scent so will see if Lush still make it in 10 years time when I have used the rest of my stash :rotfl:

Body Shop Lotus Petal perfume - WNBA, scent was nothing special but it was ok to wear to work

DHC Scalp Cleansing shampoo sachet - WNBA, my hair didn't really feel clean afterwards.

DHC Moist conditioner sachet - WNBA, probably the least appealing product name ever! Also left my hair like straw so wasn't great as a conditioner.

That might be all my UU for August, but am very pleased because I have only bought dry shampoo and toner this month which were genuinely needed ins so don't count :j
No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
    35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins
  • One more OUT this morning - Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Shampoo. WBA as it smelt nice and did make my hair softer. Now onto Lush Cynthia Sylvia Stout shampoo.

Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")
Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")

Well I have got tons of splutterers, getting so frustrated as I'm tempted to bin them!!

Still getting grief from my husband about the number of toiletries around the house, however my DD always sticks up for me and has taken to storing some in her room and her favorite game at the moment is now to do "spas" and give out hand written "groupons" for spa days!! (what am I doing to the child!!!!!!!!)

    - she has put a stool in her bedroom where she makes me sit and then she puts a pinny on and pretends to give me a makeover!! Hilarious.

Used up some old face wash that I really should have chucked away, plus a couple of deodorants. I'm also trying to reduce my LUSH stash as it doesnt keep too well...some of the ballistics that I had have for six months have lost their "fizz"!

Havent kept a definate list but used up an angels on bare skin (WBA), vanilla fountain ballistic, pop in the bath (WBA) and a sample of imperialis face cream. I love lush, but I am trying to resist buying more as it really is a luxury that I should be cutting back on. Once the stash is gone I will have to rely on any sale in January for a few treats.

On the whole I'm quite please with myself for not buying any new stuff in the last few weeks, and looking forward to a few use ups and creating a bit of space at the start of September!!!!

Hi everyone - AWOL again as have been away over the weekend staying the the in-laws in Devon. It was lovely once it stopped raining! :D Belated happy birthdays where they are needed, huge HURRAH's for Little Dog and your DD Sarah and get-well soons elsewhere too.

Some travel-sized UU's over the weekend:

MOP Mixed Greens Shampoo - WIBA? No, really nothing special and cerainly not worth the money they would charge for it!
Dove Visible Results Body Lotion - WIBA? No - certainly not, vile stuff that I could still feel sitting on my skin at the end of the day having applied it in the morning!
Body Shop Rainforest Shine conditioner - WIBA? No, probably not. Again, nothing special, there is far better out there.
Also used another two single use samples of Nivea Soft, but still lots of those to go! :p

Will go and update my list...!

Time delay cleanser WNBA supposed to like Eve Lom

Virgin Vie oil bath thingy WNBA as was a gift not very moisturising and not fussed on smell.

Goodworks aromatherapy scrub, ylang ylang and lavender ect Would definitely buy again, one of my favorite oil based scrubs smells amazing.

Hey everyone, in a rather buoyant mood today because I have an assessment for a new job! I'm so excited, this could be the thing that gets me out of the current hole i'm in (I hate my job by the way).

Got a few UU to report:

-Lush Retread conditioner: WNBA as it didn't really do anything for my hair!
-Clarins Wonder volume mascara: Liked it but it's too expensive for me
-Revlon Grow luscious mascara: WBA, really liked the effect it gave!
-Lush It's a date bubble bar: WNBA as it stained my bath and everything it touched with the pinkness of it!
