No Graham.
You don't like it because you are one of the people who hoped for a crash.
As you don't want to trade up or sell it makes me wonder why.
Do you just want to see people lose what they worked for and why?
This may come as a shock to you. Indeed, it may not even compute.
It's not all about me. Housing has a massive impact on the entire country, and our children.
Therefore, yes, I pay a mortgage. Yes I lose out if house prices fall. Yes, I want them to fall for the greater good.0 -

Sadly Sibley won't understand that post. Most bulls can't see past the end if their nose.0 -
Yes, I want them to fall for the greater good.
Sorry I don't believe that. You want them to fall so you are on level par with people you are jealous of now.We love Sarah O Grady0 -

You don't believe that I would like to see a higher standard of living for people like my own son?
Not going to try and convince you. I have no need.
No I don't believe that either. Your sons future is not what is behind your posts. We love Sarah O Grady0 -

You want to believe that is true. I stand to gain more wealth if property prices rise, and you'll no doubt not believe that I don't want property prices to rise. TBH, I don't care if you don't believe it, I know what I believe in.
I suppose this less selfish way of thinking does not make any sense in your world.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -

No I wouldn't argue with that.
I want my house to pay for my retirement. If that's greedy then so be it.
I don't want house prices to fall and have less money. Whats wrong with that?We love Sarah O Grady0 -
I think it's clear to see that the likes of Sibley thrive on trying to make others jealous of him. The more he tries to do this, the more he seems to be missing something in his life. I suppose if he isn't content with what he's got, he thinks it will make him feel better by telling others that they are even less content, and somehow inferior to him. I suppose that's fair enough, if he wants to do that. Probably the best way to counter this behaviour is to point out that some of us don't give two hoots about his possessions and status. I kind of like Sibley in a way, because I am glad that I'm not him. If I was going to be jealous of anyone with more wealth than myself, it would be someone who quietly enjoys their life without telling others about how much better off they are.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older.
