that $199 is with a 24 month contract, locked to the US network in question including their bloatware, may have the wrong 3G bands so the 3G won't work in the UK and to top it off you will requre a US credit card and address to sign up to the 24 month contract.
just keep it simple buy it from the UK that way it is guaranteed to work, buying phones from the US almost always a bad idea.0 -
