Why should BT be out of pocket because you have decided to move?
Connection/re-connection of a phoneline is a cost you should have allowed for when considering the move.
I cant see where bt would lose money, they make enough off of me every month and my net with them is drastically overpriced0 -

What is the actual cost to them in materials and wages to run a cable (etc) to your premises and do what they do at the exchange and cabinet?0
