Hi again everyone!
Just come over from reporting a succesful month in the July NSD challenge, so now registering for August where I hope to achieve 14 NSD for the month!
Not going on holiday this month, just a few days out, so should be cheap, and we also need to eat up lots from the cupboards and freezer, so should be cheap food wise too!

Wow 7 pages already!!!
Sorry I'm a bit late in my target but I'm gonna try for 15 NSD again! I'm on hols this week but it's a brass band course, two meals a day provided and we went to Sainos yesterday to stock up on food for lunches so should be reet food spend wise now! Only my alcohol money to sortso I put aside 20squid yesterday for the week. Hoping that will be enough
so can't see a reason to aim lower!
Not got any NSD yet! Yesterday was D/D day as well as the food shopping! Dreading checking my account balance! Oh well!

0 NSDs at present. Yup, a big fat blue zero. However, my regular bills get lonely so cluster together around the end/start of the month, and I am also a bit of a spend monkey around that time. It is after the first week of the month, when the full horror sets in of just exactly how much of my salary is left to last until next payday. Then just watch that NSD total rocket!!!
And it is still only 2nd August after all - 29 days left in which to get 15 NSDs.One life - your life - live it!0 -

NSD no 2 for me. Been off sick from work so been at home all day. Went to the doctors and was sort of hoping he wouldn't give me a prescription as that would make it a spend day.

Forgot to say thanks for the welcome. Today is NSD2. Not been anywhere to spend money nor interested in ordering anything online. I wrote earlier about the problem of getting reduced things even if they are not currently needed. Well, I set a very low price I was prepared to pay (unlikely to happen) but there was nothing available anyway today.0

Hi everyone, thank you for the kind welcome.
I was really hoping to get off to a flying start to my first challenge yesterday but it didn't work out too well. I bought lunch, but it was for a MS so I didn't count it. I went for a tennis lesson straight from work but took my own bottle of juice with me so I didn't waste money on an overpriced bottle of water from the vending machine. (Note to self: put the bottle in the fridge at work next time so you're not drinking warm juice.) So, I thought I was doing really well and being really organised but I forgot I had to pay for the lesson!! Then I had time to kill before meeting a friend so popped to Tesco & bought some choc & crisps, but I did well and got my first DTD. There was a fold-up holdall on sale from £12 down to £8 but it scanned at £12 so I got £8 back. I didn't really want it but decided to see if it would scan at the higher price so I could get it at £4 and it'll be part of my cousin's Christmas pressent. (Thank you MSE forums for making me look at the dates on SELs)
Back on track today with my first NSD (1). So pleased to get started and think I may be able to get a few in a row now. I need to spend money on Saturday but again it's for some MS so I won't be counting it. The only thing that's going to stop me from getting a few NSDs in a row is petrol but I'm hoping what I've got will last me until the weekend. I'll have to learn to drive more economically and stop trying to race everyone at the lights. (One day I'll grow up!)
Happy birthday DorsetGirl.
Sorry, I wasn't planning on such a long post. I'll leave you all in peace now. Good luck with the NSDs.Aug NSDs: 18/[STRIKE]6 [/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15[/STRIKE] 18

Evening everyone,
Well had a spendy day today but it was planned as I needed to top up my phon, pay a bit onto my credit card and get some shopping in. I've got to stay in tomorrow and wait for a delivery so there will be plenty of opportunity to catch a NSD.
Happy Birthday DorsetGirl! Hope you've had a lovely day :beer:CC1 £5999 Total Debt March 2021 £5999
