spend day for me, as it's the day my g&e d/debit goes out of the bank.
So I grabbed the 'opportunity' to stock up on some groceries (mainly fresh fruit and veg, but also a box of cereal I've fancied trying that's currently on a half price offer and a couple of Whoopsied tins of fruit), but I've also put aside the money to get a fresh cauliflower tomorrow (not paying full price before I need it - but got the brocolli to go with it from Whoopsies tonight).
Best bargain of the night has to be my mushrooms, in that I went and asked to have them reducedThere were only 4 tubs of the 750g value ones on display, 2 of which were smaller mushrooms (my preference) dated display until today with the other 2 being larger mushrooms and dated tomorrow. So I took one of todays to where I knew the lad was doing reductions for that area as I reckoned these should have been reduced earlier in the day (and hitting final reductions at that time), and he agreed with me - immediately reducing them from £1.38 to 35p :T Just shows that sometimes it pays to be cheeky - although I'm sure that being staff and 'in the know' of the companies reduction policies also helped

Hey all,
Hope its ok for me to join in, I am going to start with a pledge of 15 NSD please and day 1 is complete so i am 1/15 already done.

Karen0 -
er can I count this as no spend?? Went all day spent no money got home and window cleaner had left his ladder and bucket in my garden, wee note through door saying windows had been cleaned. Left £5 for him in a wee envelope on top of his ladder as I was going out, its still out there! he hasnt picked it up or ladder, so technically is it a no spend day???:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

Evening all,
Flying in to report NSD 1 for me :j. Pleased to see lots of other NSDs coming in. Welcome to all the newbies, this is addictive - you've been duly warnedCC1 £5999 Total Debt March 2021 £5999

babysteps - i don't know what your area's like, but I wouldn't leave the envelope there overnight (likely to go missing). But there again I wouldn't leave the ladder outside either, as someone's likely to half-inch that and use it to break in somewhere (if not use it at my place as it's "handy")
but as the money's not been collected, then it's definitely an NSD for youCheryl0 -
