Also nipped into A!di to check out the fruit (trying to make myself eat more) and also came out with a new pair of walking boots and a shocking pink cycling jacket (in a smaller size than the white one I bought last year) - both of which were in their sale :)

I don't think walking boots and a cycling jacket count as one of your 5 a day ;)

Sorry to hear things haven't worked out as hoped with your chap, but as Nargle says, it seems he is rather too busy for a proper relationship as well (frankly, and I may well be speaking out of turn - it sounds a bit like he expects you to do all the running, so long as that fits in with everything else he has on) . Sorry you're having a carp time atm, when do you get more news about the dog?

Well not a NSD for me today, spied the Surf glitch last night so hot footed it back to Mr T today, however, managed to get £25 worth of cleaning items down to £5 with offers and coupons :T That's to go with my Mr T shop yesterday of £55 down to £25, PLUS I got my first DTD :D so £4 back on top of that (I actually got paid for my dettol wipes - good job I checked my receipt last night)

So £80 worth of shopping down to about £25 taking everything into account. I am stocked in cleaning stuff from now to next year I reckon, just need to use it now :rotfl:

Hoping for a NSD tomorrow as not really planning to go out - unless its via the Tardis. :A

Not a NSD for me...we went to a Chilli festival and although I don't eat spicy food I ended up buying a jar of Tomato sauce for pasta (was v nice) a jar of jam (bought from the village hall) and 2 x books (50p each in the village hall that we had tea in after the festival). Also bought myself a hot dog for my lunch :)
So...a spendy day but never mind.......

Just been looking back through my spending diary for the month soo far and looking at bits that I can work on to save in the future. Really need to stop buying lunch out soo often, that seems to be our downfall. How does everyone else do it if you are out for a day? We have a 3 yr old so it's not easy to say sod it and skip lunch and just eat when we get home. But I have spent £35 aprx on lunches this month, DH has also bought some...

Also FAO Spoon, I did increase my target for this month to 13, but I think it was missed....:( I didn't want to point it out but I have well exceeded my original target of 10. I'm sure you have a silly amount of posts to trawl through for your updates which is why I didn't mention it, just didn't want you to think I wasn't trying to challenge myself properly :o Thanks :)

    Hi mrsd:wave:
I think I'm just about to find your post - I haven't updated since Thursday so the front page is a bit behind:o.

If I have overlooked you, then I'm really sorry:o I do try to pick up everyone's updates as it's not nice to be overlooked

ha, no they don't.... but they will help with the exercise which is just as important a part of my routines ;)

that's exactly how I've been feeling, and more and more so with each passing week. it's fine for a week or two if there's an emergency at work or with close family, but any more than that and they start getting used to being able to click their fingers and have you come running.... which isn't something I'm prepared to do 'cos I'm not a lap dog lol
Sorry you're having a carp time atm, when do you get more news about the dog?
lab results will hopefully back when I take him for a check up after work this coming Friday. and then I need to contract the rehoming people to let them know what was said.

I take a pack-up. Used to when the kids were small sometimes (money wasn't as tight back then, so wasn't routine) which they loved 'cos they saw it as a picnic. If I go into town for a day of shopping/browsing now I take a pack-up for me - beats expensive rubbish that has to be queued for (and which is generally a lot worse for the waist line too, even while still leaving me feeling hungry ;))

    Good morning all!

Well, it blew a gale all day yesterday, so I spent most of the day pottering around at home! I am pleased to report another NSD, so I'm up to #16!
Today I need milk and bread so I will nip out for that and I also want to go to Hobbycra£t for some "bits".

Sorry things arent working out with the chap, Cheryl. Like others have said, it seems he wants things all his way and to suit his schedule. I hope you dont think I'm speaking out of turn here. You deserve better than that! Sending you ((((hugs)))).

Have a lovely day everyone, whatever you're up to!:)
