Blackberry Curve 9300 Downgrade Problem

My daughter upgraded her BlackBerry Curve 9300 to OS 6 and it is very slow and very difficult to use. People say that you can downgrade it but I cannot figure out how. Can anyone please help me out with this!?

Connect to Desktop manager let the phone and manager link up.

Now on Desktop Manager go to Device >Update (wait for manager to check for updates) click view older versions and it should bring up a window with Select the Blackberry Device Software you want to install. Select the one you want and install.

If the software you want isn't there get back to me and I'll see if I can find it for you.

On the computer the older os version isn't on my computer. Is it possible u could tell me where to find it?

It will come up in desktop manager when the phone is connected.

I've found a link directly to RIM that gives software for phone companies worldwide T-Mobile don't seem to supply software for downgrade.

I'm with O2 and they supply software versions 5 and 6. http://us.blackberry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

Maybe T-Mobile CS can give you a link. You can download another service providers software and edit it. http://forums.crackberry.com/tips-how-faq-f3/proper-upgrade-downgrade-procedure-53359/ Tells you how to do it. I used to but haven't yet on my Torch.
