it was posted to me by the dsa with the comfirmation letter for the test. Have a look on youtube it will probably be there.
Do note that it is called hazard perception, not hazard AND perception - may make searching for it easier.
Tell your son to forget about the actual driving of lorries for the sake of this test. This test is all about spotting potential and developing hazards

Just dug out my LGV disc, I'd assumed it was all on there.
Never noticed as instead of going for my LGV I went for my motorbike licence instead and had access to a hazard disc for that.0 -
my oh has been a hgv 1 driver for 40 years so i am aware of the differences between cars and wagons.Having a partner or knowing someone who drives them doesn't automatically mean you are aware of them.it is my son who is taking his theory next week, as he cant seem to buy the hazard and perception disc locally, hence my question to anyone who has sat the test recently
Virtually all the HGV driving schools locally have the theory materials for sale.0 -

i havnt a clue what you mean here?? of course my oh occupation makes me more aware of wagons, rules, laws. my father was also a transport manager so i have grown up with and travelled in hgv/lgv's all my life.

The LGV hazard perception test is exactly the same one used for all classes of vehicle. The THEORY test is specific to the class you are wanting to pass your test in i.e. there is one for m/cycles, one for buses etc.
Many of the questions are basic driving knowledge & are included in every theory test but the rest are class specific... weight limits etcAlways try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0
