I bought some concert tickets with my friends promising they'd go and now some can't and others are on maybes :( So now I'm £75 out  (Because I'll still go no matter what!)

Got paid today :) :j Need my payslip to work out how much is purely overtime but I think it's approx £130 :D

Plus £31.45 from Matched Betting makes a total of £994.90 :T Nearly there (or half way if I go back to Silver)

you don't have to be out of pocket. you can sell the tickets for face value on scarletmist

How long does it take to find out if you have been accepted for one of indiefields invitations? have just applied for what looks like a mystery shop, dont expect I will be selected but just wondered how long it normally takes to find out!

Applied for a focus group a couple of days ago and found out i was accepted this morning. if it is urgent or the deadline is looming it can be even quicker.

Thanks Woodyrocks - friends have changed their minds and are coming now so I'm quids in :D Since the money has been missing from my account since January (yes I'm keen :o) and I haven't missed it, I think I might add it to the challenge.

    Also to add this week....
    £23.46 from Quidco

    I've hit bronze :j :j :j

    So back to silver.... ;)

Got more to add later when bets are settled...

  • As we're at the halfway point, methinks I might make a temporary return to do the 3 month newsletter just after the 7th. I'm currently working my way through the pages to catch up - on Pg 115 of 137 so far. I see even at this stage we're getting new members.... this pleases me!

May PM everyone for totals on Saturday night... dont hold your breath tho!

Hi WOA  hope alls ok with you.

Not a bad start this week:

Ebay 3.75 on a cross stitch kit I was given but won't ever do and £3.36 on some vouchers I couldn't use so would have gone in the recycling otherwise :j

Then £3.46 profit on a book on Amazon and £2.50 on one I sold to someone at work

Total for week so far is: £13.07 - ok not a great amount but I did cross the £600 barrier today :T :T :T

Have a psychology experiment lined up for tomorrow which should bring in another £4 - would be lovely to get an amazon sale in or two tonight but think that'll be wishful thinking.

We're going to in laws this weekend, seeing my parents briefly too and my dad's apparently done me a box of books for amazon as he's having a sort out ready for some building work and we're going to in laws to sort OH's stuff he still has there so hoping they'll be some sellable stuff there too.

Only problem with all this (going Friday coming back Tuesday) is that I won't have time to sort this weekend and could really do one, particularly a go through my craft stuff to see what I have and what I could sell and what I could actually use to make some cards to make/save money. Think that's going to be a plan for next weekend.

So plan for tonight/tomorrow and this weekend - as I probably won't get on here before then and if I write something down I'm more likely to stick to it is as follows:
    • Check stock on GM and Amazon against books etc I think are on there and amend as required
    • Add any books I think are worth it to small ads at work
    • list the 3 lots of stuff I have prepared for ebay on 10 days listings on thursday night
    • Collect books from my dad (and anything OH doesn't want) and list on amazon and/or GM over weekend (OH's taking his laptop so I might as well ;)

Hope everyone has a good weekend :j
