Another 34.98 this morning. Well chuffed. Also managed to get Sky to agree to a reduced payment for a year since I've had so much hassle with them. This has cut my monthly payment with them in half!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. hello, just wondered if anyone knows what 'increasing family benefit by £20 for the first child per week by 2010' means to us this year, seems a bit vague.
Anyone out their with kids in childcare a bit disappointed like me there is no increase in childcare vouchers or any additional help whatsoever.0 -
Well I found my spreadsheet and I'm past the £500 mark :T
Did a psychology experiment at lunchtime too so now on £504.38 - over 1/2 way there :j :j :j
Have decided to list 1 thing on ebay which is easy to describe/list and almost guarenteed to sell then will try and work out what I'm going to do with all the trickier things.
Amazon's been very slow - nothing for a week now, have a few things to list though (out of a free book tray at work - old obsecure thin science books - should do well on amazon)
Not money making atm but have just been told by my new line manager to sign up for any courses I like, had a look and there's lots available - good for boosting my CV and increasing job chances in the future so I'm happy todayInitial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

I got £86 this morning. :T
My friend told her collegues at work about the bargains I am selling. Last week she took a selection of them and this morning she told me that she has sold them all for me. I gave her 10% commission and I've got £86 left.:j
So this week I have made more money doing my challenge than I have working. Perhaps I should give up work and become a full-time Olympian.:rolleyes:Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0 -

have ordered my consumerpulse voucher so I can include the £10 from that shortly.
I have come up with an idea to help me boost my total (not mega money making but will bring in that little extra) going to keep it quiet until I see when/if/how it works out first, then Ill let you knowfinally debt free and want to keep it that way!!0 -
That sounds intriguing! I got a phone call today about another focus group, they wanted parents with teenage children. I was tempted to lie, my daughter has just turned 20. But I'm good so I didn't. Have sold another couple of books though.Total debt May 2005 £83,232

Got Amazon money so £16ish added to total, plus have made some ebay sales with BIN, will only add to total once I have paid postage etc. Then another £4.95 coming in from Amazon over the next few days too, need to deduct postage then add that to kitty. Small but regular increments... £100 from Paypal should come in Monday so will add that then too.MFW #185

£16.47 to add from an ebay sale, 1 day listing guy paid almost straight away and I posted today.
Not a great week as nothing from amazon but I've listed 2 more things on ebay last night, 1 on 3 day, 1 on 10 day and the 3 day one has bidders already and the 10 day one has 2 watchers so fingers crossed.
Tonight will:
list the books I got from someone at work on amazon,
go through my money off and extra points vouchers, work out what i'll use and ebay the rest if I can.
look at old mobiles on envirofone and if it's work it sort it out - OH has never got rid of a mobile, i normally trade mine in though.
Research the trickier things I have for ebay, the if it's worth it take photos and get ready to list them on Sunday night.
Will report back on my success or otherwise tomorrow.:TInitial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000
