Well done for all the challenge money earned - even if it's only little amounts, it all adds up and I know that for me, these little amounts would have been 'lost' in general spending so I am thankful to the challenge for this!
Poppycracker - 'I want to be Debt Free - but I have a OH' Club!' Hilarious!
Hope all those who've been unwell are much much better now and can go out and enjoy the sunny weather (even though it's now clouding over here).

I am very pleased - today was the day I emptied my 'piggies' - the gold one with £2 and £1 coins, and the 'other one' with all the rest - silver, copper etc.
Pleased to report £82 in those, now banked and on it's way to IceSave.
I had been including the £2 coin here and there in my Olympic challenge, but now have taken out all the little amounts, and recalculated with this one off deposit.
So my total has now been adjusted accordingly!MFW #185

oh dear poppy!!
could you try and motivate him into doing things to earn or save money if he catches the bug like us lot he will soon become addicted
start putting a couple of his possessions on ebay otherwise telling him you need the money from somewhere he might and i stress might just get the hint
good luck hun xx
Thanks wilf. Trouble is, he doesn't seem to be able to make a connection between him spending money and us being in debt! He's actually been giving me things to sell on eBay, but I'd rather that he actually stopped spending money we haven't got!Sea78 wrote:Poppycracker - 'I want to be Debt Free - but I have a OH' Club!' Count me in ! We try and have a "mine is mine and his is his" policy about money (having been burnt before) but there is always the "you couldn't lend me a tenner" or I end up paying for the shopping or rather than pay for his half of the bills he buys a new sound card/ keyboard/ software system - just delete as appropriate.
I do love him but ......can't live with him, can't bury his body under the patio on my own either !:DI was going to take over the world but got distracted by something sparkly.......0 -
