I have some auctions ending tomorrow on ebay so maybe some more money there but no bids yet!! Also at the end of the moneth I shouldget loads for all the overtime I've been doing! Well done to all who are doing so well on here!

    Hi Grace

This challenge is proving hard for me too at the moment, but we still have 5 months to go and I am sure we will build up speed :) I think as we go on we will have more ideas about how to raise extra cash and whatever we end up with will be more than we started with!

debt buster loans are doing an offer of £400 when you enquire about a loan from 5k upwards. you have to get the sales pack buut you dant have to accept the loan once you get the pack you can say youv changed your mind and still get £400. weve done it just waiting for the sales pack now so fingers crossed but its tracked on the site.

be quick though the offer ends on the 31st although there has been talk of extending it.

Sounds too good to be true! It says on the site that you are contacted - is it very hard sell on the loan? What do they ask? I guess it is a credit check which I wouldn't mind for £400!

    Might try it. Thanks

Still waiting for one payment mid week, had a bit of a bidding war on that item and then he's not paid up  Have sent another invoice to them in case it's been deleted by mistake.

Had 3 things finishing today, 2 didn't go but the third one is just about to finish and has had 4 bids on it (not much it was a freebie and 2nd attempt on ebay) so went to a grand total of £2.53!

Had a previous buyer ask me if I had more of the freebies I sold to them a few weeks ago; so had a few freebies to put onto ebay, and from the 10 I've put on I've already got 3 watchers and 1 question and they've not been on 6 hours yet! If I manage to sell 2 of these I've paid off the fees :j Roll on next Sunday. :j
  • I just used the code to take a look at all the listings and in the related searches comes up our old code soldbyagenuinememberofthe£1024fromnothingclub!!!!!

another £13.49 to add to the pot for me. why do people watch items then not bid drives you potty.

mizmir i thought the debtbuster thing was to good to be true but i did it i swear and its tracked i wont let them sell me a loan over the phone going to tell them to send the pack so i can talk it over with my husband then say no. supposedly a few people have done it.

they rung me yesterday about my financial status then said theyd get back in the next 48hours to see what they could offer. not very hard sell but very friendly and helpfull.
back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed
  • why do people watch items then not bid drives you potty.

I often watch items that are similar to items that I am planning on selling to get an idea of price and interest.
  • I have hardly even dented my total this week :( but I've cheared my self up no end...I've just been into my spreadsheet to add another pack of not smoked cigarettes (:T ) on there and I'm only £58.35 off silver!! With a weeks worth of not smoking and my ebay listing finally being collected next Sun I'm done!!!!
I will have hit my target by 4th of Feb, just under 1 month into it!!!
    :j :j :j :j
I have also just been into my online banking and have totted up all the money I actually spent (disregarding DD etcs). After taking out my normal weekly shopping I have spent £89.20 unnecessarily, so my aim for feb is to seriously cut that back...no more trips to the bakers for me and bubs! Oh and no more I feel ill lets go buy bottles of baileys and tubs of ben and jerrys either!!!! Double
  • I stopped buying the unnecessay items ths month and saved an extra £280 of januarys wages (which included spending on a couple of last minute xmas pressie and new years celebrations so could have actually saved more any other month) my question to myself was where does that £280 normally go because its never there come pay day normally!

EDIT: since when was ben and jerrys unnecessary!! :D

I'd like to know this as well! Has anybody else had any experience about enquiring about the loan but not taking it out?

Edit: An update of my totals since signing up for the Bronze challenge:

    Amazon profits: £14.93
    eBay profits: £14.49
    Pigsback vouchers: £30

    Total so far: £59.42

I'll send my details over to Wings of Ambition for inclusion in the next newsletter. Great idea! :)
