Scam to lure jobseekers into cheque/Western Union fraud!!!

This is still going on and latest version is from The Arty Academy for a Financial Forwarder position that required you using your own bank account to receive funds from Art Sales then transfer it on.

This is the email received on asking for more information.

The position being offered is for Financial Forwarding Coordinator.

For the most part what the job requires is for someone to be available Monday through Friday, 9 to 11 am. Once the funds enter your account, your supervisor will notify you and assign you your tasks for the day. At this point you would go to your bank, withdraw the funds and transfer them using Western Union or Money Gram, as instructed by your supervisor. We will let you know how much of the amount deposited is your commission and how much needs to be transferred, all fees are paid from money received.

Fortunately I checked with this site and found it was an old but ongoing scam

this is now on studentjob.uk and supposedly from Style Academy.

I've contacted studentjob.uk & they say they've taken the ad down - but I saw a note on another forum that someone had contacted them a month ago about the same advert. The scammers name this time is Kelvin Antwurb & he is advising that cheques will be sent which need to be processed through your bank account etc etc. :mad: why can't these scammers be shut down for good? & why aren't studentjob.uk checking the credentials before they allow jobs to be listed? a quick email asking if the supposed contact works for the company would soon find out.
