We had no kids. My ex walked out 5 years ago leaving me with £10000 of debt that wasn't my own. Only £2000 of "our" £12000 debt was my debt and I didn't know until we split that the git had taken out loads of debt in my name! Applications were made behind my back, signatures forged and post hidden from me. The Police didn't want to know because I could prove nothing and the git had moved to Holland.
I can't get me ex to even reply to calls, messages, emails or texts. The git-from-hell now lives overseas in hiding! Good! Now I have a happy, new life with a wonderful OH and the git is unhappy!
After a long fight with banks I have £3050 of debt now. £2000 of that is my own debt and it should all be paid off Dec 2012. Happy days.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

Happy Friday to all of you gorgeous small thingers!!
You are all so inspirational! I just wanted you to know that!!
Another WFH day today and hopefully will be NSD, we're going to go for a walk after dinner, shopping is here and we don't need to go anywhere, if I can just keep my diet-sabotaging-evil voice in check (I'm doing WW and feeling the need to eat high pointy foods) we have low point snacks in the cupboard, and if I can just keep it all together I'm going to let myself relax over the weekend!
So today, I have/will:
- check bank
- all food from stores
- same with drinks
- check pigsback/onepoll etc
- searches through swagbucks and click on affiliate link
- work hard! want to clear my to do list today
- sparkle! (thanks josie!
Can't think of much else at the mo.
determined could you give me a bit more info (or point at a link) on the VSP thing? sounds really interesting
Thanks all, hope you have a great day xxxClicking, searching and surveying my way to a life of debt freedom!

Morning Folks,
Hope everyone is ok today – yay, it’s Friday
Hi to all new members and regular folk
Day’s holiday today, so having a chilled day at home
Today I have/will do:
• Meals from stores
• Need to do a mealplan for the next week
• LSD – only a lettuce, pay for my lottery syndicate and a drink out tonight (or ask hubby to buy)
• Going to a leaving do for a friend – I left the company ages ago and its her last day today…meeting for drinks in town – will park after 5 and pay £1
• Read newspapers online
• Watched a couple of things on the sky box
• Checked online banking
• Do online comps
• Need to watch bits on the sky box – we are running out of room (we tend to tape things in HD)
• Drink plenty of water
• Take meds to sort out hormones
• Will do my face to give me confidence when I go out tonight
• £2 coins into terramundi as re-started this yesterday
Think that is about it – I am sure there will be things I have forgotten.
Have a fabby one!
