I am saving up for a house but as a young singleton finding it very difficult. My aim is to save a very large deposit as can't bear the thought of paying all that extra interest on a mortgage!

I am hoping for £20,000......I will have to find major ways of savings. Petrol is my largest monthly outgoing.
